Camelia Bakery has always been in my heart, even before it became an idea and finally a real project.

It was born from my love of colour, from an unstoppable desire to explore, from a passion for the warm, enveloping atmosphere of charming little places, and from the pleasure I find in pairing food with décor. I imagined Camelia this way — a little bohemian, a little chic, like a welcoming and simply sophisticated home.

Comfortable sofas, armchairs and vintage-flavoured cushions, cups and cutlery found on my many travels.

And then the sweets. From soft, colourful cupcakes to homemade cakes made from family recipes, to shortbread biscuits to dip in a good tea or hot chocolate by the fireside.

For Camelia Bakery I chose quality and sustainability, organic produce and wholesome ingredients — the kind used when I was little.
